Terms of Service
Effective date: July 24, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Forkcast, including the mobile app and website at getforkcast.co(the "Service"). By creating an account or using Forkcast, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated by reference.
The Service
Forkcast is a household meal-planning tool. Features may include shared recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, household invites, and related tools. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Forkcast.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
Households & invites
Forkcast lets you create or join households and invite others by email. When you invite someone, you confirm you have a legitimate reason to share their email for that invite. Household members can see content shared within that household. You are responsible for the people you invite and the content you share with them.
Your content
You retain ownership of recipes, photos, notes, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process it solely as needed to operate and improve the Service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not:
- Infringe others' intellectual property or privacy rights
- Contain unlawful, harmful, or abusive material
- Include malware or attempts to disrupt the Service
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse invites, spam others, or harvest user data
- Attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service except as allowed by law
- Use Forkcast for any unlawful purpose
Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party providers (such as authentication, hosting, storage, or email). Your use of those providers may also be subject to their terms. Store listings and payment processing for paid features, if any, are handled by Apple, Google, or other platform providers under their own terms.
Disclaimer
Forkcast is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that meal plans, recipes, or nutritional information are accurate or suitable for your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forkcast and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50).
Termination
You may stop using Forkcast at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
